Fun Being the Keyword

People who complain about things like poor character development and the like (which I disagree with, but digressing), probably haven't read enough shounen manga. The point of a story like Fairy Tail this is not the twists it takes (admittedly this volume doesn't offer the amazing revelation in the following one), but seeing cool attacks in cool fights. Hiro Mashima knows how to draw action, and when we see Natsu's fire blazing and Lucy assuming Star Dress and kicking ass, it looks great. The characters may not be particularly developed, but I don't think that's the point. The point is to find them enjoyable, and to like watching them.

Fairy tail is one of those series' that you just can't hate I mean the story is great and the characters too I just love this series so much man.
